Let's continue our food trip, shall we? Just to show you how I gained 3 kilos in 2 weeks.
Our next stop was Del Cielo, SEARCA branch. This is inside the UPLB campus behind the Women's Dorm. Totally hidden from tourists. I think you have to be bred and born in UPLB to find this one. Unless you are staying in SEARCA. Getting dizzy with the acronyms? Sorry. If you really want to find this place just ask where the Women's Dorm is then walk up to SEARCA hotel and there it will be.
I liked the decor of the restaurant and the display of baked goodies near the entrance. It looked very homey.
For appetizer we had artichoke and spinach dip. A little too few artichoke and spinach than how I make it but it's still good.
We also had a pumpkin soup. I will give it very high points for presentation.
I could never resist ordering crispy pata. This is the boneless variety. This was really yummy.
Sans rival is really without rival. I have to say though that the best sans rival I had in my life is by my Ninang Merly. I don't know where she is now last I heard she is having a restaurant in San Pablo. I hope she still makes sans rival.
