I did not follow the first one so many years ago. This new adaptation is quite good. I really like the cinematography. I also really like that they show a lot of Filipino culture. That's really a nice touch. Good way to educate the masses about the beauty of the Philippines. They can add even more "educational stuff" in my opinion to combat the ignoranization of the Filipino people because of watching too much dumb soap operas. I am hooked and I am doomed because I don't have TFC. Now, I am reduced to scouring the internet for bad quality video feeds.
