Looking for Something Brighter...

Yesterday afternoon, I was seating on my sofa, turning the pages of some art books, waiting for the rainy afternoon to pass on the dusk to call it a - gray - day.
I suddenly felt that it was enough and went in the studio for a colorful impulse - I wanted green, I wanted to melt oranges and blues - I drew the first basic things that came to my charcoal, just for the sake of having springy and summery colors vibrating with each other.
here it is - an imaginary still life - melting pastels with each other on a strong watercolor paper :

Pastel - 50X55cm

Loved doing that one - a bit messy and impulsive, but that was the purpose...
