The problem with the map that the tourist information office had kindly given us was that it was not detailed enough. Moreover some of the towns were a lot bigger than we had expected. And our dear GPS device couldn’t find any of the viewpoints on our map! Lars and I had to use our sense of orientation. Anyway, next destination: the Roche de l’Ulf in Fumay:

We ended up on a dead-end street, looking for this rock (roche). What we didn’t know, was that it was completely surrounded by plants and trees… It took us 15 minutes to figure out we were actually standing right next to it!
Fumay – like many other places along the Track – is split in two by the Meuse. So, what you see once you have found the (in)famous rock, is the other side of the town.
