These wide leg trousers or culottes are a recent purchase from Matalan. I don't own a single pair of culottes so they 'needed' to be bought. I fell in love with the print above after seeing it on some shorts some time ago, unfortunately I didn't like the way the shorts looked on me so I was extremely chuffed to see the same print on these trousers. I am not too sure if they are supposed to be high waisted, but as I am a short they fit perfectly hanging on my waist. The drawstring and pocket detailing turn these trousers from beach wear to something a little more sophisticated and so they fit in whilst wearing these white heeled sandals c\o my best friend. I took the main color of black and blue out to co exist with my accessories and I have fallen in love with this look. Change up the shoes and I am good to go for a more causal affair - These trousers are a hit, I will be going back to pick up a few more in different prints and colours.
