London Day Trip - Vitality Show

By Brightowngirl @Brightowngirl
If you haven't seen my first post on my London Day trip you can read it here.
After John Bell & Croyden we stopped off for a quick lunch at Meat Liquor where I had the best burger of my life. It was possible the most unhealthy thing I have ever eaten too but it was amazing!
We then headed to the Vitality Show.
London Day Trip - Vitality ShowIf you haven't heard of the Vitality Show before it is the UK's largest health, beauty, fitness and wellbeing event. It is hosted at the Earls Court two in London and this year is running from the 21st March - 24th March.
I had never been to The Vitality Show before but Kat has been for years so I let her take the lead and show me the best stands to visit.
The whole place it set up into sections, Health, beauty, fitness and Wellbeing. With Kat and me being obsessed with everything beauty and food you can guess where we spent most of our time.
It was such a fab event with loads of brands to look at, some of which I knew and others which I had never heard of before.
All the exhibitors were really friendly and were so generous with letting you try their products and letting us take samples away with us to try too.
The stands that really stood out to me were, Travel Mate, Ohso, Green people, Baobab and Niki's Organic Balms. There really is something for everyone.
London Day Trip - Vitality ShowGreen People Zap & Clear Serum, Green People Gentle Cleanse & Make Up Remover, Green People Irritated Scalp Shampoo, Jason's Glowing Apricot Hand & Body Lotion & Niki's Organic Balms mini Set.  The first purchase I made was at Niki's Organic Balms. I had heard a lot about these from Sarah (Sugaruffish) and I had been chatting to Niki on twitter too so I was very keen to see the balms in person. I picked up the little pack of four mini balms so I could give them all a try and I already know I will buy the full sizes of them at some point, they are just gorgeous.
It was lovely to meet Niki in person as well, she told us everything we needed to know about the balms, she was just lovely.
I then decided I wanted to try some products from Green People. I have heard a lot about the brand but have never actually tried the products. Kat is often raving about their cleanser so I picked that up. I also wanted a new shampoo as my hair is driving me crazy at the moment and I wanted a more natural one. The recommend the Irritated Scalp Shampoo for me. Lastly I picked up their new Zap & Clear Serum which reduces the size of your blemishes over night. Sounds good to me.
The last stop was to pick up some Jason's Apricot Hand & Body Lotion. I have used Jason's shower gel loads of times before but have never tried their other products. This smells good enough to eat.
London Day Trip - Vitality ShowAnother perk of the Vitality show is the goody bags you get with the magazines. They had Zest and Womans Health on sale. I stupidly emptied all my bags out last night when I got home as I was rather keen to see what was in side, so I am afraid I can't tell you what products came with what. If you head over to Kat's blog though she will have a post about them as she is much more sensible than I am.

London Day Trip - Vitality ShowThese all the wonderful samples I got in the various goody bags. (you also get one on arrival) As you can see the brands were very generous and I can't wait to get stuck into try all these....I might be working my way through the food pile as I type this ;)

I had such a fantastic day and I was really impressed with the show. Kat took a small suitcase with her which is a wise move if you plan to pick up all the goody bags and magazines. My arms were killing me by the end of the day.
