Life’s Lessons Have Taught Me ….

By Gran13

summer gardenLife’s lessons have  taught me to pay no attention to those who talk behind my back. What I want to tell them is; ‘Don’t judge me if you haven’t walked my path.’

If someone has not had to cope with having a child in a psychiatric hospital, that person cannot know how it feels.

If someone had not had to cope with the tragedy of a child who ended his life, they cannot know how it feels.

If someone has not watched a loved one disappear into Alzheimer’s disease, that person cannot possibly know how it feels.

When life gave me 100 reasons to cry, I had to find 100 reasons to smile. and Bernard Baruch taught me me one of the most helpful lessons I have ever learned:

Be who you are and say how you feel because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter, don’t mind.
