Spring day, and back to Life Drawing class at La Grande Chaumière.

On Another note : I experiment new support for pastel. I always paint and draw on paper, usually. But somehow, as I am used to the support, I always getting back to drawing and to a game of lines… I feel the need to play with the support, and get to paint on a rougher texture : doing this, I want to lose some comfort and challenge myself with colors, with the feel of pigments…
I am working on a small still life. Support is an small art board, covered with gesso, acrylic, mixed with marble powder. My first attempts on this mixture were not successful. On this one, the support seems to be workable… Let's see!
