Libra Rising – December 2012
The Sun for you this month is passing through your 3rd house of local affairs, communication, education and brothers and sisters. As such, there will be a lot of running around for you to do in December, short trips to make, and correspondence to attend to, your social life and diary could get quite full. The Sun opposes Jupiter on 3rd December and you may try to impose your views or beliefs on those around you. This is a hugely optimistic time when you will think you are right on all matters. The new Moon on 13th echoes these themes and prompts you to learn something new, be it educational or maybe by visiting some local places of interest.
Mercury is moving for the first week of December in your 2nd house of money and finance and these matters will concern you before it moves into Sagittarius and your 3rd house. As a result of this switch, your life will enter a more social phase. This is a time when you will not be able to relax at all, but you may well get to know people and neighbours in your local environment in a more amicable way and you may do a lot of running around making short trips and journeys for them. Mercury makes a difficult square to Neptune on 11th. This is tricky as you may think that your attitude to money is correct now, whereas you may be deceiving yourself or worse still someone else. Be careful over finance issues or matters of personal possessions. On the 14th, Mercury makes a trine to Uranus and this could be a time when you make contact, via email or phone with someone special who could make a difference in your life, either personally or professionally.
Venus passes through your 2nd house of money, finances, possessions and self-worth in the first couple of weeks of December. You may want to show off by getting a new phone or treating yourself to the latest fashion item, whatever makes you feel internally better. As Venus moves into your 3rd house and makes a square to Neptune on 14th you could be making more social trips and getting more in touch with local people including your brothers and sisters if you have them. Venus is the planet of love, and as it makes a trine to Uranus on 19th, why not tell the people around you that you do love and appreciate them; spreading a little love around your local area is a wonderful thing & you'll feel good for doing so.
Mars is moving in your 4th house of home and family during December, and your relationships with relatives and women in general could be quite spicy and rather on edge. If you feel in an irritable mood with those around you at home, this may be the cause. Mars will encourage you to get on with and finish any outstanding domestic work that you need to get on with, and as such you will be buzzing around getting keenly on with any tasks on your domestic list of things to do, and no doubt there will be many of these as the festive season approaches.
At the end of the month on 28th, we have a full Moon in Cancer in your 10th house that makes an intense opposition to Pluto and a square to Uranus. If you are at work during this holiday period, domestic matters may be overshadowing your mood. Whatever is happening in your work arena, matters at home may well be affecting your thoughts & general mood as one of your parents, possibly your mother, is trying to control you, and in the process this may affect your relationship with them. Try to make sure that any tense atmosphere doesn’t spoil your enjoyment of the New Year’s celebrations.
