LETS TALK ABOUT: RUNNING
Over the past year or so I have dipped in and out of exercise and haven't really had much of a routine. If I am honest I have probably spent more time planning training programs than actually working out. With that in mind I decided to change things around, and in an attempt to do so I have booked myself onto a few races next year. I have just started training but so far have only managed some seriously sweaty and slow runs. Baby steps people, baby steps. Here's whats in my diary:
Glow Night Runs 5km - Starting things off slowly with a night race where neon clothes and a head torch are a must. How could I resist? Plus it's a stones throw away from my family so I'm hoping they can brave the cold and cheer me over the finish line. PS. I already have bought sparklers.
ABP Southampton 10km - Just looking at the course map for this makes my stomach turn upside down but I think it's within reach as long as I'm willing to put the work in. Any tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated.
Bournemouth Half Marathon - I haven't booked this yet as I need to see how training goes for the 5km/10km first.
I am also fundraising for a fantastic charity which really means a lot to me and my family, To read my story and find out more information/how to donate then click here
