Leo Rising – March 2013
This March, your Sun, Venus and Mars will all be moving in convoy through your 8th house until 21st as they all shift one by one into Aries by the moment of the Spring equinox. These will be a particularly intense few weeks that may see you psycho-analysing why you are feeling on edge and looking at your inner self and getting to know yourself better. Changes are happening to you on a level that you may not quite understand. This house is associated with death, and an aspect of your life may end now, allowing room for new experiences to enter. It is possible that an encounter with someone will shake up your personal value system quite radically now. There is a lot of emphasis on intimacy with Venus and Mars moving through here. Any new relationship will be based more on sex and wanting to experience love in an intimate manner, and existing love ties will be stimulated by deep and emotional desires. This is also the house of shared resources and the effect of these planets being here may make you very aware of any shared finances, debt, investments or potential loans that you need to take out. During these transits you may also benefit from the resources and money of your partner or of an associate. From the 12th March when Mars moves into your 9th house, your mind will open and the desire to learn something new or to travel will become stronger. The Sun and Venus join Mars in the 9th on 20th and 21st of the month and contacts with people from overseas or with foreign heritage will be more and more significant to you. Mars and Uranus make contact in your 9th house on 22nd March. If you are studying, your enthusiasm to learn will be sky high, however if you are abroad or on vacation, please be careful if you plan to do any risky activities as you could be over confident and reckless.
Saturn and Mercury form sextiles to Pluto on the 7th March. In some way you can instil some changes to your everyday routine, work or the state of your health through these planetary contacts. This may involve deep analysis of your habits or through the assistance of your family, mother or other women with whom you have relations. These aspects make a second connection at the end of the month so any initial thoughts and ideas can be acted upon once Mercury turns direct. It is still moving retrograde until 17th March and this may bring out discrepancies in the actions or the ideas of someone else, there could be financial implications in this. Anything hidden from view may now come out into the open as Mercury connects with Neptune on 15th and 16th March.
We have a dynamic full Moon in Libra arriving in your 3rd house of communication, local affairs, education and brothers and sisters on 27th March. This full Moon is exactly opposite to Uranus, Venus and Mars as well as the Sun; it is widely square to Pluto and trine to Jupiter. Something new you learn, you read or is told to you will change your attitudes and could change the whole way you see your day to day existence. Be prepared to be shaken or persuaded out of any rigid beliefs or ideas that you have long thought to be true.
