Choose clothes that will highlight your figure is not an easy task. When it comes to shopping, women generally follow the trends and buying clothes in fashion. Forgetting that the secret to a perfect outfit is to go for clothes adapted to the morphology of each and not necessarily trendy articles. Discover in this article are some tips to choose clothing as every body type.

For women, primping and wear beautiful dresses is a way to boost their self-confidence and feel beautiful. That is why many of them spend a lot of time to choose the right clothes that will highlight them. Unfortunately, few of them know exactly the style that suits them the most, because they rely on their very rarely morphologies.

Indeed, it is very important to know your body type to successfully develop its attributes. Put far too long skirt, a too tight dress or tight jeans, then your form does not allow it, is not the best of ideas.


We can distinguish between four different morphologies:

  • The apple-shaped body
  • The pear-shaped body
  • The body rectangular in shape
  • The hourglass-shaped body

Every woman should determine her body type to build on its strengths and strengths. To do this, simply observe the curves, measure the width of shoulders, waist and hips and compare the results to identify the type of morphology.

Here are some tips, for body type, to follow to make good fashion choices:

A body apple shaped:
If you have an apple-shaped body, is that your upper body is wider than the bottom. You have to try the maximum to divert attention from your shoulders or abdomen. Rely more on your neck and chest.

When you go shopping, go for tops or dresses with a neckline to highlight your chest. But make sure the dresses are broad at the waist and thighs. Indeed, those slinky or with belts should be avoided because they do draw attention to your belly. Choose also loose trousers rather than straight cuts or slims, which will give your legs a slimmer appearance.

A body shaped pear:
Women with a pear-shaped body should enhance the upper body to divert attention from the bottom which is much larger. They must choose tops that exhibit and expand on their shoulders (shoulder pads, baggy …). Push-up bras are also recommended to give more volume to the chest. The goal is to balance the silhouette.

For the low, women with this body type should choose clothes for straight cuts and sober colors to wear with high heels to give the silhouette a more slender appearance. The tight pants are in turn to banish!

A rectangle-shaped body:
This type of morphology is characterized by an alignment of the shoulders, waist and hips, which offers a straight look with discreet curves. We must redraw its curves and develop, to give more femininity to the silhouette.

Women with this type of morphology, must prioritize clothes that create volume. But beware, it’s not wearing very loose clothing or larger sizes. This will accentuate the masculine aspect of size.

Mini skirts are also a good choice for highlighting the slender legs.

The body shape of an hourglass:
The hourglass shape is undoubtedly the type of the most perfect body. Women with this morphology have beautiful natural curves and usually have no trouble finding outfits that suit them.

Simply highlight the curves and roundness, choosing clothes that will beautify. For example, high-neck dresses or V necklines will help to highlight the chest, while the high waist pants and skirts will draw the shapes of the lower body.

Dresses arched and belts are also recommended because they will mark the waist. It is fair to say that women with this body type can all afford!
