Hello everyone~Today I will be doing a review on the Leaders Coconut Gel Mask with Orange. This mask can be purchased at Leaders Cosmetics Shop for $35.00 for a box of 10 masks (here). I got all my photos mixed up, so I could only get my hands on some after photos >.< Lesson learned!
Unlike the other two masks I reviewed, this one is a gel mask. The actual gel mask is stuck in between two sheets of parchment for protection, which is understandable. It was pretty tricky to work with because I did not want to rip the mask. So basically...
- You remove one sheet of parchment.
- Apply the mask.
- Then you remove the other parchment
I had to take off the mask to find the flap to peel the mask off, then re-applied it, and peeled off the parchment. So overall, application was tricky.
The formula was nice! I did see some improvement in my skin. My skin did seem brighter and smoother. If you can see, I did break out a little, but it was from my time of the month.
The serum has a gel texture compared to the runny solution of the other two masks I previously reviewed. Another thing is that it dries to a matte finish compared to shinny finish from the other two masks.
This would be really nice for the summer time compared to now, when my skin needs all the extra moisture it can get.
Overall, I enjoyed this mask and would look into them for the summer months. It is a little tricky to apply, but other than that it is really nice. If you fancy another read, here is the AC Clear Mask and Aquaringer Mask posts I did previously.
