A clearly agitated man walks into a bar. He’s shaking with anger. Obviously he’s just had some sort of enraging experience that pushed him to his limits.
“I swear to God!” he yells. “All lawyers are assholes!”
A man at that bar looks offender and throws his upper body backwards in shock. “Hey! I’m really offended by that remark!” he says.
The man looks at him with a somewhat apologetic but mostly just puzzled expression. “Why?” he asks. “Are you a lawyer?”
The man shakes his head. “No. I’m an asshole.”*
*For those who are slow, he’s an asshole, and lawyers are so bad that even assholes are offended at being compared to them.
