Lanolips

By Brightowngirl @Brightowngirl
LanolipsLanolips have recently bought out some travel size products which are perfect for you're handbag.
My first experience with Lanolips wasn't a good one, I tried one of their glosses and it just completely dried my lips out. I was a little weary of trying these products out but wanted to give them a go has I had heard such great things about them.
The Lanolips 101 Ointment, is a multi purpose balm and was also the first product in the range. If you are familiar with Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream, this is very similar but is 100% natural. I mainly use this on my lips but it is also great for any dry skin patched like elbows, knees and feet. This has been formulated to hold over 200% of its own weight in moisture, which works quickly to relieve and repair skin.
It is quite a stiff balm and you really have to warm it up to get it out the tube but a little goes a long way, you really don't need much.
The 101 Ointment gives a slight shine to the skin so is great to put over lipsticks for a glossy look or on eyelids and cheekbones. As I said a true multi-purpose product.
Something that really sparked my interest from the Lanolips range was the Golden Ointment Tin. This is very similar to the 101 Ointment but has Manuka Honey in it which makes it antibacterial and great for  healing dry skin and things like blemishes.
I have been using this on a dry patch on my hand that felt really sore and after two days it had nearly healed, I was very impressed.
This can also be used on lips and all other dry patches of skin. This is not as thick as the 101 Ointment so easier to use, it also has sweet scent to it.
The only downside is that the tine is quite hard to get open but it is not something that bothers me too much.
Overall these two little products are great skin saviours and perfect to pop in your handbag so they are always around when you need them. They have really turned my views around of Lanolips.
These both retail for £7.99 at Victoria Health.
