Today I’ll be reviewing the Eye Shadow Palette in Silver consisting of purples, blue, silver and greys.

Packaging
Lakme Illuminating Eye shadow palette comes in a black cardboard outer packaging that contains all the details needed like - price, ingredients, etc. The palette contains 2 rows of eye shadows in a rectangular glossy black sturdy case with a large mirror and a not so worthy eye shadow sponge in it. The lid closes with a click and wouldn’t open up while traveling.

Texture & Pigmentation
The Lakme Silver eye shadow palette is a cool toned variant consisting of 6 shades ranging from purples, blue silver and grays that are appropriate for a night-time look. Most of the shades are good in quality – smooth and soft, but can be a bit chalky. The shades have sheer pigmentation with minimal fall-outs. For maximum color intensity, I would suggest using a damp eyeshadow brushto pack the color on the lids or used a better eyeshadow base or primer
. 5 out of 6 shades have frosty/pearly finish with very subtle/barely-there illuminating shimmers. However, the shimmers aren’t visible very much when the color is applied on lids. If you’re a beginner in wearing eye shadows, this would be a very nice starter palette because they don’t deposit too much color on the lids in a single swipe.
Staying Efficacy
The eye shadows wore quite well with primer on, and one can barely notice and creasing or fading for over 4/5 hours of wear.
