Shade:It is a peachy nude shade which would suit all skintones. It is an easy to wear shade and I reach for this whenever I'm confused on what shade to wear, this goes well with everything :-)
Packaging:
The stunning rose gold packaging with the brand and range name on the side along with the shade name mentioned below the case left me drooling! I do wish that they could have had a color coded label at the bottom for easy identification but that's just me being greedy :P The thing which stuns me more than the packaging of the product is it’s texture.Texture/Finish:The texture is creamy during application (you can see the creaminess in the hand swatch), no tugging or pulling on lips (provided you had applied a lipbalm earlier) and later it sets to a powder matte finish (the finish reminds me so much of my Chambor Powder matte lipsticks though this feels a lot lighter on the lips). You may also like reading: Swatch Attack!: 10 Lakme Absolute Creme LipsticksLakme 9 to 5 Lip Color in Coffee Command: Review/Swatches/LOTD
Application:
It is best applied after moisturizing your lips with a lipbalm since it is a matte lipstick and it looks very unflattering on dry, flaky lips. But once you apply on moisturized lips, it does not dry out lips much and you won’t find the need for a lipbalm for the next 3-4 hours. It settles into fine lines and looks cakey if you apply more than two swipes.Staying Power:It stays for a long time, not from 9 to 5 as claimed but for around 5-6 hours. I have to say that I’m very impressed with this lipstick because of it’s staying power and texture, well done Lakme!Pigmentation:Pigmentation of this product is very good. Though the shade is a light one, it does not compromise in the pigmentation department and gives an opaque coverage in 2 swipes. This shade is going to become a staple in my handbag, perfect for office! You may also like reading: Maybelline Bold Matte Lipstick: MAT 2: Review/Swatch/LOTDLakme 9 to 5 Lip Color in Coffee Command: Swatch
