Lack of Sleep and Exercise

Posted on the 10 January 2016 by Dave Nevue

Coffee is my best friend these days. With two small children (one is three and the other is one) sleep has never been so bad. We understand now that we were very lucky with our firstborn. After ten months or so he started sleeping pretty much throughout the night. Everything is so much worse with kid number 2. He wakes up 3-4 times almost every night. Our first born has also started to wake up several times if he sleeps in his own room and they have started to wake each other up. It's a pain. We're going crazy. I have noticed that if I have slept really bad there isn't much point in going to the gym. I am weak, unfocused and obviously tired. I feel so much better if I only go for a walk instead. So here is my advice: If your night was terrible and you didn't get much sleep, give yourself a rest! Be kind to your post-pregnancy body.
