Hair & Beauty Magazine
Hey guys, how are you all?During my spending ban I've been super lucky with having a boyfriend that treats me to a monthly gift. This month I got three goodies from the Boots 3 for 2 deal across cosmetics.I saw the new L'Oreal Paris Rouge Caresse Lipsticks a week or so back on a fellow bloggers site and I knew I had to have one... or them all. When we were in Boots I was umming and ahhing over the lilac shade and the coral shade. I've got a thing for purple lips at the minute and thought I'd go for the coral instead to make a change. Although, I'd sure if you read my blog you know I love orange coloured lips as well. However, with that said I would say this color falls more towards pinky coral, than orangey coral. With all L'Oreal cosmetics the packaging looks lovely, and a lot more expensive than the price they sell them from. Unlike the original L'Oreal Rouge Caresse Lipstick the come in a pink tinted casing. That isn't the only difference. The L'Oreal Paris Rouge Caresse Lipstick gives a Pearlescent Pop of Colour. Running through the middle of the color of the lipstick is Mother of Pearl particles. It gives you iridescent vibrant colours with a sheer, light finish. It applies initially quite sheer with a pop of colour, and the iridescent shimmer. It is easily buildable to give you a gorgeous pop of coral on your lips with a gorgeous hint of glitter flashing through.I don't think the lip swatches are true to life, as I think they appear a darker more coral pink in real life with pink shimmers running through. The Coral & Floral shade is the darkest, and most pigmented, one of the collection, but I definitely want to grab the three other shades. It comes in 4 shades, and they all available on Boots for £7.99 (here). What do you guys think?Natalie Roseanne <3
