Pink is the shade of every woman! Pink is the only shade that I can wear throughout the year without getting bored. I have shades of Pink in almost everything I own, be it Bluetooth speakers, headphones, shoes, outfits, accessories, handbags and so much more. Pink is feminine, gorgeous and lively! It is one very versatile shade that can be loved 365 days in a year albeit the weather.
When L’Oreal Paris announced their launch of Star Pinks Exclusive Collection – La Vie En Rose (Life in Pink) in India, I was head over heels. I loved their Pure Reds range and was excited to get my hands on these beautiful pinks too.

The L’Oreal Paris La Vie En Rose Color Riche Matte Lipstickis packed in a matte black lipstick casing with gold accent. The autograph of the ambassador (Liya) is embossed on the casing of the shade. The Color Riche Lipsticks range mostly comprises of sophisticated soft to bold pinks which would cater to all complexions.
The texture of the Star Collection Pink Moist Matte Lipstick is very creamy and smooth. This settles to a semi-matte finish within seconds of application. Liya’s Delicate Rose has good color pay-off and delivers opaque coverage in a single swipe. The color shows up much better on the lips than they do upon swatching.
The staying power is an average of 6/7 hours and the color withers off from the inner rims when you eat or drink anything. The darker colors do stain lips and leaves behind soft pink stain when it wears off.

Liya’s Delicate Rose is a raspberry pink that instantly brightens up Indian complexion. This is definitely a bright lipstick, though you can tone it down by applying it as a lip stain and is a perfect shade for fall/winters.

The L’Oreal Paris Star Pink Mat Lip Color comes in a matte black lip gloss packaging similar to the L’Oreal Paris Extraordinaire Liquid Lipsticks (in gold packaging). The packaging looks very classy with the autographs of the ambassadors embossed on the casing of the shades. It comes with a color coded rectangular window to ease identification. The L’Oreal Pink Extraordinaire Lip Color consists of a doe foot applicator which applies the product evenly on lips.
The L’Oreal Paris Star Pinks Lip Color has a very creamy formula which settles to a glossy finish. The range mostly includes soft pinks to bold pinks. Both the mat lip colors have amazing color pay-off, providing full coverage in a single swipe.
The staying power is pretty decent and I get a wear time of 3-4 hours with slight fading on the inner rims when I drink anything soupy. These are super comfortable to wear and I’m totally obsessed with the Julianne’s magnolia shade.
