Kony2012

This is going to be a non fashion/beauty related post but an awareness post about a charity called the invisible children. This past week whilst being ill in my bed i came across this video a friend of mine had shared on Facebook called KONY2012. 
The short film is about the leader of the LRA (rebel army in africa) Joseph Kony and how a single person Jason Russell has set out with a promise, a promise to his friend Jacob from Uganda that he will stop Joseph Kony and his army. He promised this 10 years ago to his friend and this year they are going to make Kony famous not to celebrate him, but to raise support for his arrest and set a precedent for inter national justice.

After watching i am overwhelmed by emotions. I almost feel ashamed in myself, as i already knew about rebel gangs in Africa, i always cared about it but there wasn't any way for me to help so i didn't. But now the whole world has awareness of who Joseph Kony is and what he does!!!
