Kitchen District, Hyatt Regency Gurgaon - Feast and a TreatIf you are looking for a weekend destination and don’t want to drive for 5-6 hours then let me tell you that Hyatt regency, Gurgaon is your best bet.
First Impression of Kitchen District:Impressive is what comes to mind, the moment I entered in Kitchen District, their signature restaurant. Five live kitchens serve Mediterranean, Asian, Indian, and Japanese dishes and they prepare a-la minute .Different sections have different sitting arrangements that truly makes your dining experience memorable.
With two PDR and the longest bar in town overlooking the pool, this is something one should not miss.
Kitchen District, Hyatt Regency Gurgaon - Feast and a TreatThe Gusto food and My Take: While I was reading the menu, Anadita, the PR Manager of Hyatt suggested that I must try kai Kari korma and kal dosa which is the most famous dish of Kitchen District. They have A la carte and as usual I always followed chef’s recommendations. Raw Papaya Salad(Som Tam) – traditional thai salad sliced green papaya tossed with lime, chilly and peanuts. Crunchy as well as the tangy citrus was refreshing to begin with.Octopus Carpacio – Delicious Italian appetizer with thinly sliced octopus. Flavorful yet delicate on the palate! An exquisite dish – tender and tasty!
Kitchen District, Hyatt Regency Gurgaon - Feast and a TreatKai Kari Korma with Kal Dosa – assorted vegetables cooked in mild coconut gravy which I loved eating with crispy Kal dosa and it was definitely the start of the day. Completely a fantastic dish! This coastal food was worth every bite!Yakitori  - meat balls and broccoli   - Japanese style grilled meat and broccoli was delightful to eat.Casarecce Pasta - Mellow pesto pasta with sautéed beans and pine nuts - crunchy and the pasta tasted good!.Sushi and Sashimi – it was a platter with salmon , prawns and vegetables- Fresh and delicious.

Perfectly cooked spicy lamb and the crunch of the crust was delightful! Macaron Sandwich – Super macaroon sandwich filled with fresh berry was an excellent way to finish the meal.If you are in mood of driving little far and want to experience a gastronomic journey - Kitchen District is the right place for you.
