KeenwahYou know about quinoa - I've blogged about this superfood before. This time, I'm not talking about cooking it though - we're snacking on it!

Quinoa, pronounced keen-wah, is the primary ingredient in i heart keenwah - this clever company's name.  

However, did you know that in ancient times it was called "chisaya mama," or "the mother of all grains"?  That is because it is a complete source of protein, full of all 9 essential amino acids.   And people think you can't get enough protein on a vegetarian or vegan diet! This tasty, gluten-free snack version of quinoa, comes in four flavors: almond, cranberry cashew, chocolate sea salt and ginger peanut.  It is sticky and crunchy so get your jaw ready for a sweet workout.  You may need to bring a little floss along!
