During the month of June I didn't really purchase any new make up bits. However, my purse strings were certainly pulled tight as a result of doubling the size of my summer wardrobe. Oops! Anyway, the staple item that I have found myself reaching for every day in June is the Estee Lauder Stay-In-Place Flawless Wear Concealer with added SPF 10. I have it in the shade Light Medium which is peachy toned and great for covering blue tinted under eye circles. It does work well as a cover up on spots and blemishes, but I would advise to make sure it's blended in enough as it can apply quite thickly and leave you with polka dots if you are not careful. I simply apply it with the small wand it comes with but then blend in using a Real Techniques Contour Brush for a flawless finish. It does contain SPF so just be careful if your planning on having your photo taken a lot as it may cause flashback. At £21 for a 7ml bottle it is by no means as cheap as the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer....and although that wins does win cult classic awards from most beauty bloggers, I would argue that you can immediately see the difference in quality between the drugstore and the high end in this case. I will definitely be repurchasing this concealer when it's finished as I don't think I have left the house without it during the last month. Now I have dipped my toe in the high end market, I am afraid that it is going to become a very expensive habit.
