According to the latest reports, Joss Whedon, the director of the Avengers movie is now reportedly making a TV show based on S.H.I.E.L.D. (Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division.), the fictional law-enforcement agency that we knew from many Marvel comics, including Avengers.
ABC has already picked up the show and Joss Whedon has also teamed up with his brother Jed Whedon to develop the pilot for the show. Whedon says that this show got nothing to do with Avengers' story. Instead it will be autonomous.
This is probably the coolest news I heard on upcoming TV shows. I think this show will definitely be as good as Smallville or maybe better. Will this show feature Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury? What could the story hold to surprise us? It might also feature some superheroes as well. I guess we will have to wait a while to find everything out.
