A Happy Easter/Spring to all! We did a little family Easter celebration yesterday as the forecast is for cold and rain today. It worked for Josie!
The Easter bunny hid eggs at my house AND at Grumpy and Meema's. I am getting good at finding them. I spotted one right away!
Bob-a-Dog is helping me. I am hurrying to get them all .
My favorites are the plastic ones because they have stuff in them.
Sometimes the eggs are hard to find. But I can do it.
This is a good one! It has stickers AND jellybeans in it.
Putting it safe in my basket ...
Benny wants to help too. I have got a lot of eggs.
What's in here?
And here?
When I had found all the eggs, then we had lunch. Mama and Daddy brought cole slaw and potato salad. (And a hot dog and fruit and Baby Bel cheese just for me.) Meema made baked beans and deviled eggs and barbecued pulled pork on buns.
Meema said that the eggs were on a plate that had belonged to her grandmother. It must be VERY old. Did you know that grandmothers had grandmothers?
Meema also made a carrot cake with flowers on it. She said we could eat the flowers but the dandelions might be bitter. I tasted a lemon balm leaf but did not like it. I did not try a violet.
But the cake and and the cream cheese icing were yum tummy tickly!
I had a whole piece and I ate it all with a grownup fork!
The Easter Bunny brought me lots of stuff. This little octopus is fun. It lights up if you bonk it on the floor. And if you squeeze it, it blows bubbles. It can be a friend for my big pink octopus that Aunt Aileen made for me.
I used some of my stickers to decorate Mama. She loves stickers.
It was a very good Easter. Then I went home to take a nap. Happy Easter Day to everyone!
