Jetstar Japan, Japan’s largest low cost carrier, is starting new services from Manila to Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka. To celebrate this, the airline came up with a special launch sale that offers one-way fares on these routes for only 1,998 PHP. Bookings may be done until February 7, 2016 at the PTAA Travel Tour Expo in SMX Convention Center Manila and at jetstar.com.
The airline has stated that it will commence its daily flights from Narita International Airport in Tokyo to Manila on March 15, 2016 and from Chubu Centrair International Airport in Nagoya to Manila on April 1, 2016. Meanwhile, the airline will fly four times weekly from Kansai International Airport in Osaka to Manila starting April 7, 2016, complementing the four times-weekly service already operated by its Singapore-based sister Jetstar Asia.
With ideal scheduling of these new routes, passengers will be able to connect to and from the extensive domestic network operated by Jetstar Japan. Its domestic destinations include Fukuoka, Kagoshima, Kumamoto, Matsuyama, Naha, Oita, Sapporo, and Takamatsu.
Jetstar Japan currently operates up to 100 services a day and flies to 11 domestic destinations, two international destinations, and soon, Manila. A joint venture among the Qantas Group, Japan Airlines, Mitsubishi Corporation, and Century Tokyo Leasing Corporation, the airline maintains a fleet of 20 Airbus 320 aircraft.
