When Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice cast Jesse Eisenberg I was more than a little skeptical about Zack Snyder's decision. Not that Jesse can't pull off a bald look, but I was worried his height and voice might be somewhat of a problem. Thankfully I'm not worried anymore.
After seeing this incredibly badass looking first image of Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, all the skepticism I had faded away. I'm hopeful that Jesse would do a good job as Lex Luthor. Even though height can be an issue, Jesse will pull it off pretty good.
“He’s not any of the Lexes that you’ve seen, that’s for sure,” director Zack Snyder told Entertainment Weekly. “Other than him being a captain of industry and one person to the world and another person to himself. And bald, of course….Our Lex is disarming and he’s not fake. He says what he believes and he says what’s on his mind. If you can unravel the string and decipher what he means, it’s all there.”Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice hits theaters on March 25, 2016.
