Pronounced as "ee-kaht" , Ikat is one of the most worn and a fabric rich in culture, first originated from Malaysia and Ikat traveled different countries to grow richer and earned more admirers across the globe. This journey of Ikat created a history, rich in all senses. If you are also an Ikat lover then here is something to add to your experience!
I thrive to learn daily, add something to my knowledge to grow richer and more content every day. One of the favorite things I have on my list is learning about textile and loom that create simplest fabrics with most complicated yarns created differently at each step of the creation. And the best I can learn from is the people and brands I admire whether in my life or social media!!
So, here is something to remember for the next year there is a show specially made for "Ikat" - World Ikat Textiles Show that was held in Bikaner House!!
If you are an IKAT fan and missed 2017 show, don't worry. Hopefully "Eventshigh" will update the schedule for World Ikat Textile Show in 2018 too.
