Its Quikr in Bangalore

Its Quikr in Bangalore
Today I close the door to the past, Open the door to future, take a deep breath, step on through and start a new chapter in my life.

On the move again...
I'm doing my happy dance...
Moving!
That's what gets my adrenaline pumping.
That is the story of my life.
But by now, I am so attuned that I can pack and unpack with my eyes closed.
Over the years ,I have collected so much stuff ,junk , curios ,books ,clothes ,the whole gamut of household items, that I am now tired of.
I want a fresh start.
A new beginning.
A lot of my gadgets are as old as my marriage...and its time to change them...considering hubby dear can hardly be changed.
After my Quikr, Delhi experience, I'm all for shopping on Quikr, Bangalore.
I'm planning to buy a new bed set -hopefully in Sheesham/ Teak wood but as the set is going to be for the guest room, I am not keen on brand new read EXPENSIVE.
I want aged and beautiful furniture. Almost like antiques.
Almost like eye candy.
Bangalore is a city where techies settle a while and move even before. ..
It's a city that has history.
And old homes and businesses and stores...
I am not necessarily looking for old stuff...
But considering that I already have a 40 liter oven and a convention microwave, it makes no sense to buy another right...
but I really like this 60 liter...
The Baker in me begins to drool.
I'm just about to begin packing my stuff.
But I am already logged on to Quikr, Bangalore.
Lots of advertisements of sheesham and teak wood beds keep popping up to match my requirements.
There are a few people who are selling their stuff on Quikr, Bangalore however there are more of those who are retailing brand new stuff. They incur very low overhead costs so the products are cheaper.
Not a bad option considering that the prices are much less than the designer showroom stuff.
I also located an advertisement of people who will come over and paint your house. Since I can't really choose the house...that will be provided to us. I love making cosmetic changes .
Every new move I add on to my brass collection.  So what is junk for a lot of people(read hubby dear and other like minded people) is a treasure for me. I can save myself the pains of going on a treasure hunt for these goodies in the bye lanes of the old city ,by checking out the site and conducting a virtual treasure hunt on Quikr, Bangalore.
I'm also planning on trading sweet child's old books...the one's he has grown out of , maybe trade of his junior encyclopedia collection or his PS2 Gaming CDs and the CDs of the movies we have bought over the years with someone.
Maybe I should give them away ,but books are almost a part of my system. I can't just let them go...
What a predicament!
I'm also looking for Athagudi  tiles.Hand painted limited edition...
Since I plan to put my feet up and not teach in a school in Bangalore, I will be putting in some advertisements for free on Quikr, Bangalore for my Baking Classes.
Perfect.
So much to plan for in the future...
And all Quikr.
