John Gilpatrick and I have decided to continue our podcasting partnership into a new venture entitled “It’s The Pictures”. John’s website can be found here. For those who don’t know John, he is a member of the OFCS and has been reviewing films for a number of years now. Our joint love of cinema including Oscar movies and Criterion Collection releases make for exciting talks about the film in general.

Our inaugural episode is a deep dive on the 2016 Oscar ceremony including predictions for all the major categories. We also briefly discussed the recent Criterion Collection flash sale, as well as Stephen Chow’s The Mermaid and Oliver Stone’s JFK.
