I have been tagged by Karen from Adventures of a Monkey Footed Mummy to complete the All about Me meme started by Gina over at Cold Tea and Smelly Nappies. I always think these memes are a great way to get to know a bit more about the person behind the blog. If you are a regular reader of my blog you will know that I tell you a lot about my children but not a lot about myself! If you would like to get to know me a little better, keep reading…
1) First off tell us your name (nice easy one there)…
My proper name is Tamara but my friends and family call me Tami
2) I live at home with…
My husband, Big Mr A and our beautiful children, Little Mr A aged 5 and Little Miss A who has just turned 1. Oh, not forgetting our dog, Shadow.
3) My favourite thing to do is…
I like nothing more than snuggling on the sofa with the family on a cold and wet afternoon watching a film and stuffing our faces with popcorn!
4) My favourite thing to eat is…
This is a tough one! I love food! Depending on what day it is depends on what my favourite food is. I do always love a good donut or cheesecake though.
5) When I get cross I…
Shout a lot and sometimes cry. I hate getting cross and try not to but it can be difficult with two demanding children and a husband that works a lot!
6) Sometimes I worry because…
I mostly worry that I am not doing a good job as a Mum. I worry that I am giving one Little A more time and attention than the other. I worry I am not doing the best for them and always worry that I could be doing more.
7) My favourite book is…
Up until a year or so ago I would have said anything by Marian Keyes as I am a huge chick lit fan, however, after watching Game of Thrones I decided to give the books a try and love them!
8) My favourite toy is (easy now)…
Easy, my phone! Since getting a brand new smartphone in August I never have it more than a few feet away from me. It is great for taking lots of photos of the Little A’s and keeps me in touch with all of my online friends!
9) I dislike…
Rudeness. There is no need for it. Please and thank you goes a long way and it is something I am making sure my children have instilled into them.
10) When I grow up I want to be…
I used to want to be a Midwife when I was very small, until I realised they had to actually deliver the babies. I thought they were more like a postman ‘delivering’ babies to their Mums! Anyway, now I am older (although definitely not a grown up just yet!) I just want to be a good Mum, respected and loved by my children. Oh and if anyone can fix it for me to win the lottery and become a millionaire I wouldn’t say no!
I hope that has helped you get to know me a little better (and not made you run a mile!). Next up to reveal a bit more about themselves are:
