Elegant bridal luxury at Iscoyd Park

An inspirational collaborative shoot was organised at privately owned Iscoyd Park bringing together the very cream of bridalwear brands known for elegant bridal luxury and the talents of the ultimate dream team: Ashford Daly Photography, Wedding Genie, Sabina Motasem Bride, Silk Brides, The Bespoke Tailor, Sarah Roberts and Lizzie Griffiths. What a fabulous, fun day it was too!

Iscoyd Park, a beautiful Georgian Country House, nestled in Shropshire, was the perfect backdrop for the shoot, mixing old and new Hollywood styles with a glamorous upstairs/downstairs revival theme. A perfect place for peace, quiet, beauty as well as being accessible, with little distractions and no one else around, for a wedding or private house party it really is the perfect exclusive intimate venue.

Multi award winning UK wedding photographers Ashford Daly Photography, who specialise in documentary photojournalism with fine art finishing, captured all the amazing pictures and asked four of their real clients, Penny, Laura, Claire and Sophie, to act as female models on the day. Julie Dawson leading wedding planner at Wedding Genie brought everyone together and curated the shoot, UK’s newest and talented bridal designers Sabina Motasem Bride brought dresses from her latest collection, Jo Reyner from Silk Brides, one of the best bridal shops in the UK, loaned dresses from Jenny Packham, Pronovias and David Fielden, Adrian Burrows from the The Bespoke Tailor loaned English Gentlemen suits with cloth sourced and handmade in the UK worn by our male model Leon from the Alan Sharman agency. Sarah Roberts, a super talented hair stylist, also provided all the beautiful vintage inspired jewellery, head pieces and jewellery, and talented make up artist Lizzie Griffiths created all the pretty looks to complement on the day.

Mary of Ashford Daly Photography says, “The Upstairs Downstairs styling to this photography was easy to realize on the day we shot, given the design and detailing of the wedding dresses, along with the location and environment of this wedding venue decor and the dapper and stylish tailoring, we were back in the 1930?s within a flash. Complemented with hair design, Art Deco accessories and make up befitting the era, our real client loved the overall finishing brought together by our experienced wedding team.” The vintage one-off head piece ‘Sophie’ with a 1930’s brooch as the centrepiece was supplied by Bespoke Tiaras by Sarah Roberts, London.

Wedding Genie:

Wedding Genie are committed to a different style of wedding planning. We want every couple to have the wedding they dreamed of, but, our efforts are to focus on the couple getting married and not the thousands of pounds the wedding industry sometimes dictates they spend. We believe in a strong foundation for the start of married life and that is where we concentrate our efforts. At the beginning of our journey into the world of planning and coordination we were trained by a Wedding Planning company called Magic Dust. We adopted their philosophy because we agreed with their exemplary method of customer and service delivery. Wedding Genie are part of a select group of wedding planners invited by Magic Dust to be part of their mentoring program.
