Sweat plays a major role in keeping you fresh and healthy. Sweat is the natural cooling system of our body, when the body is overheated because of the exercise or fever. Sweat is nothing but the water mixed with some amount of salt. Sweat comes out of the sweat gland to the skin surface. When sweat evaporates, it begins to decrease the body temperature. It is good, when you sweat a lot. When you do workout, due to muscle contractions, heat is generated. When you start sweating, the body temperature comes down. Sweating has long term health benefits. It has many health as well beauty benefits. It also helps to reduce the weight.

Why Sweating Good for health?

  • It keeps your body cool. It is built in body mechanism, which maintains the body temperature and prevents you from overheating. When we exercise, our body temperature rises. Then sweat helps to make our body cool. With the help of sweat you can get rid of extra body heat.
  • When the body produces the sweat, the circulation gets improved by heart, mostly in the skin. Through regular exercise, you can improve the circulation.
  • Pours on the face gets open after sweating and your face becomes clear. Also, it decreases blackheads.
  • Sweat fights with bad bacteria and kill viruses. It prevents skin infections. Sweating helps to remove harmful toxic substances from the body and in turn help to prevent disease which causes due to toxic overload. The kidneys generally take 24 hours to remove the toxin such as mercury and lead from the body. But sweating takes less time to remove it. Your immune system becomes strong and you can fight the flu and cold.
  • Harmful substances like salt, cholesterol and alcohol get removed from the body because of the sweat. As per research, most of the body’s waste gets eliminated through sweat.
  • Sweat cleans up the skin pores, which improves the skin’s texture and tone.
  • Through sweating you can burn 300 calories in one hour. To reduce weight, regular exercise is must. When the body is heated after exercise, then fat turns into water soluble and through sweat it goes out from the body.
  • Sweat may not directly lower the stress level or make your mood. But chemicals which are released when you do exercise, helps to boost your mood and lower the stress.
  • You must have observed that, when you have a fever, you sweat most. Because the sweat regulates the temperature and increases metabolism, when you are sick. Stimulated metabolism, helps to maintain the weight.
  • If you sweat less after exercise, then there may be a risk of asthma.

Sweating is nothing but the natural cooling process of our body. Sweating inability could be dangerous. You sweat after excess exercises, but you can induce it via sauna and steam bath also. Sweating promotes better health.
