I know summer is over but I had to share with you how amazing the Institut Esthederm Adaptsun Tanning Body Lotion is.This is not like your normal sun protection, it uses sunlight positively to promote healthy skin and provides internal and external protection against harmful sun rays and allowing your skin to tan safely.
I have the one that is for extreme sun and sensitive skin as I burn very easily and have to wear factor 50 usually.
Adaptasun lets through just the right amount of sun to retrain your skin to defend itself so it can tan safely which allows the skin to adapt to the sun rather then over protecting it. When skin is deprived of sun it loses the ability to protect itself so this is where Adaptasun comes in and helps.
This is such an amazing product and I am amazed at how well it works. I used it the whole week I was away and didn't burn once which when I am away is usually rare.
It takes a lot for my skin to tan and I did get some color on my arms and chest. I think if I used this from the beginning of the summer I would of built up a good tan.
Another great thing about this is that it isn't thick and heavy like most sun tan lotions, it also has a gorgeous scent which a few commented on.
