Winter is not officially over yet,but temperature in Chennai is never low for a frozen dessert or should I say I can have ice cream/frozen dessert at any time of day. This is the season for strawberries here and we get good quality ones though they are tad costly.Still I am always attracted towards them and buy.I always pop a few as soon as I wash them and save few for any recipe I plan to make.Last time when I bought I made this cake, which turned out to be a keeper. This time I was looking for a new recipe and pondering over possibilities.I had this strawberry kulfi in mind for a long time, when I was about to search and settle down for a recipe,it occurred to me that I had 3-4 scoops of vanilla ice cream in freezer. So I just made my own recipe for this kulfi,I am not even sure if I can call this a kulfi, but since froze them in kulfi molds they are kulfi :). Not a recipe really, just wash and hull the starwberries, blend with softened ice cream and freeze in molds. That's it,can this get simpler ?
Strawberry kulfi recipe

3.Freeze in kulfi molds for minimum 4 hours or until set.
4.Tap the molds gently on the sides or show the mold under running water and remove the kulfi.Serve immediately.
Notes:
