After posting my Beauty Box 5 for April, I decided I should share the first box I received, which was in March! I was pleasantly surprised by this beauty box service. There are a few options that vary the price per month, but if you just want a month-to-month subscription, it is $12/month. I went with their 3 month option for $30, so $10/box, but billed all at once. If you are interested in learning more about the boxes and how to sign up, you can use my affiliate link here, or check out their site. Now on to the good stuff - what's in the box?!?!?!
The first item in the box is a set (by that I mean two packets) of La Fresh Travel Wipes Nail Polish Remover Pads. Always a great thing when you travel, although I never go anywhere, but still, I love the concept.
Next is a loose Eyeshadow from Brazen in the shade "Suburbia." It's a really pretty milk chocolate-like color with a touch of shimmer. Pretty and a wearable shade that anyone can wear! :) This also appears to be a full-size product.
Sample number 3 is from H2O Plus and it is a decent size sample of their Eye-Lift Concentrate. This is supposed to lift, firm, tighten, hydrate and repair! That's an awful lot of claims! I'm always willing to try a new eye cream...when I remember to switch it up...so this is a great sample too!
Another sample from H2O Plus is the Spa Sea Salt Body Wash. I really like sea salt body products because they kind of suck up dry skin and wash it right down the drain. Beware of shaving before using them though, because it will burn like crazy!!! This is another nice sized sample and it smells nice as well.
Finally, there is a pretty big tube of Shea Extra-Rick Moisturizing Lotion from Tree Hut in the scent "Tropical Mango." YUM!!! This smells delicious and is made with certified organic Shea butter.
So there you have the contents of March's box...only 2 months late, right? :) I was really pleased with the size of the samples and was thrilled to see some brands that aren't in every other subscription box right now. Not to mention, as far as I know, none of these products are tested on animals!!! :) No where on the website do I see anything about whether this is always true or not, but it looks like most, if not all, of the brands they have mentioned are cruelty-free!
I hope you enjoyed seeing the contents of March's Beauty Box 5 box, and if you're interested in joining, click here for more info! Thanks for reading!!! :)
