My first indiblogger meet. (The other one I attended,I had to leave in an hour👿)
In Mumbai.I had to cab it from South Mumbai to VilleParle West -32km of a bumpy ride...Well ,going was cool,the traffic in Mumbai moves towards #SoBo ,but it felt as though I had to cross an entire country to get to the meet.And guess what ,I was the only Townie-People from South Mumbai are called Townies. Believe it?Anyways the invite only meet was for the launch of -Dabur Non Sticky Coconut Oil.
This is the new deal in #FrizzFreeHair. This is a light non greasy hair oil, that has a mineral oil base and has small percentage of coconut oil.So the oil spreads easily on hair and doesn't look all matted and oily.It also contains minerals and vitamins,and silicone oils that lock moisture,thus giving you #FrizzFreeHair.This is an oil that is a must try.The indiblogger meet was awesome. Almost 100 women bloggers from Mumbai ,all together with the Indiband playing -Pink Floyd. After a long ,long time... Teacher leave them kids alone....We don't need no educationWe don't need no thought control...

What was the cutest ,was the Indiband member,with his face covered in that death-defying unscary mask...
And a couple of three year old girls dancing to Pink Floyd. And women singing along that they didn't want an education. We were here to be educated about Dabur Vatika .At the end of the product launch and a small presentation by a scientist from Dabur research and development (DRDO) ,it was time to have a some fun.The game played was the BFFs and Rock Paper Scissors.
And the looser got their hair all mussed up.So in the end, after much ,much confusion,they had winners. All this while we bloggers chatted and collated stuff.Awesome.So some new BFFs and blogger contacts.
They had this champion counter to get your hair all straightened out...but I had a long bumpy ride home,So I skipped.
It is a small world indeed, the pretty young lady in the green saree is my sisters college mate from Delhi.
Then after all that posing with the life size bottle of Dabur Vatika, headed home to blog about the experience.A part of the experience is indeed the trial of the product.Wondering....
Actually,I needed to try this on the boys first.Guinea pig no 1, sweet child.Done...I massaged the oil into his hair.Didn't need too much, but the smell of jasmine was a bit too strong for me.He was ok with the smell, it didn't affect him much. But my Allergic Rhinitis got in the way.In about half an hour ,I got him to wash his hair. And his hair was nice and soft.
Mine is the frizzy when humid kind of hair. Just like Monica from FRIENDS when she is visiting Barbados, and her hair gets frizzier.
For me too, it's always the HUMIDITY. And Mumbai has been under a heat spell. Humidity spell rather.So my hair was already ready to smoothen out. I tried a little on my hair,save for the smell of jasmine,the oil was fairly decent.Since I had applied just a few drops,it was easy to wash off.For me, this oil will be great post my application of henna in my hair.I just rinse out the henna and shampoo the next day. So the oil will be able to control my Super frizzy hair then and kill the smell of the henna.Till then I just experiment with the new Philips Hair Straightenee.
This was one of the most fun afternoons that I spent among a hall full of strangers. So ,great job Indiblogger!Looking forward to another meet in Mumbai.
