Independence Day Brunch at Courtyard By Marriott, Gurgaon Brunches are exciting and make mornings and late afternoon extra special. Most of the five stars, business hotels and stand alones offer Sunday brunches. If Brunches are part of your celebration or occasion, then offcource it becomes more joyous and happiness doubles! This time at courtyard by Marriott, Saturday brunch had a special happiness quotient as it was on Independence Day.
Courtyard Marriott in Gurgaon is positioned as business hotel and it’s a great place to have your official discussions along with terrific meal. The best thing that I loved about their brunch is the special menu for kids - small burgers, fried, noodles and small size pizzas. They also have dedicated section for kids. Get inked by tattoo artist, small playing area and lot of other activities that would keep the kids engaged. Many of us have super energetic kids and it becomes difficult to enjoy your brunch as kids get bored easily. I would love coming here as I know that my son will have fun time and I can relax and unwind over lunch with my spouse!
I have always enjoyed food at courtyard by Marriott, especially after chef Amit Dash joined. His expertise in Indian food and experience of working with ITC in past, churns amazing result! I had been part of food tasting, when he introduced his new menu for their all day dinning MOMO Café.  You can read the full review herehttp://www.mysticfoodiemantra.com/2015/02/chef-amit-dashs-signature-in-new-menu.htmlIndependence Day Brunch at Courtyard By Marriott, GurgaonIndependence Day invokes feelings of patriotism and a day to pay homage to all the martyrs. It is special for all Indians and will always remind us of the freedom we earned, the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and the remarkable courage and grit that they had. This year, when I heard that Courtyard Gurgaon is doing an Independence Day special brunch, I called them and enquired on the offerings. Independence day celebration is about Tri-color.   I do not quite enjoy tricolor food; however everyone has a different take on this. Here, it was an amazing Indian spread and loved their biryani. The Biryani changes often and is a must try. I equally enjoyed butter chicken and the delicious mutton curry. Their salad and live grill section too needs a special mention. At the live grill counter, you can have prawns/fish/tenderloin with different kind of spices to grill with. Their western/continental section is equally great.
They also have great desert section and I was told that they actually have got a halwai from old Delhi. He specializes in Indian sweets. Rabri and gulab jamu too were good.  I must say that service was very prompt despite being full house and they were very responsive and were catering to the needs of each customer. Highly impressive, I must say.
I had great time and would love to go back again and take my family along too.
