Let’s flip it around. Consider, India is one of the poorest countries in the world yet it’s poor are not as wretchedly violent by a long shot as the poor of Sub-Saharan Africa and large parts of Latin America. If poverty caused crime like MSNBC or The Nation magazine wanted us to believe, India should have African scale homicide rates. So you could easily argue that for living in a desperately poor, low trust society, Indians are comparatively civilized.
It’s not racist to attack a culture. Indian people are not lousy because they have bad genes. They popped out of the womb halfway decent like any of us. Their culture warped them and turned them into lousy people. Now if someone is acting bad because he chooses to, it’s not racism to call him on it. It’s not racist to call lousy cultures lousy and to point out that most of the humans being churned out of such a culture are going to be lousy people because lousy cultures make lousy humans.
There are some good Indian people on my site, right. But the culture turns you into a bad person in a lot of cases. Once you get caught up in that culture, it’s going to get to you. A lot of the poor are halfway decent people, but they are so dangerously stupid that there’s almost no excuse for them.
The Indians on my site are the ones who have stepped outside their culture and refused to get corrupted by it. They are social reformers who want the best for their country.
I think Indians can be good people, but only if they get outside their culture. As long as they stay in Indian culture, most of them, especially the highers castes and those with some money, are going to be turned into lousy people if they aren’t that way already.
Let me give you an example. I have known many Indians in the US. Now, every single Indian you meet in the US is high caste or higher caste. Period. No exceptions. I have spoken to many of these Indians about caste.
The Hindus are extremely weird, refuse to mingle and generally won’t even talk to you, plus they exude a very superior air about them, maybe because they are a high caste, but also because Indian culture is so lousy that it makes you feel superior to the rest of humanity whilst living in a shithole.
If you try to talk to a Hindu about caste, they get really weird really fast I mean real fast. They get these awful looks on their faces like you are talking about some dirty little secret, and they pretty much shut down the conversation right fast.
If it seems like you know something about caste, like you see their name and guess the part of India they are from and what caste they are, for instance, Patels are shopkeepers and merchants from Gujarati, they first act stunned that you know this in the first place, and then they wink at you with these evil smiles. You get it? They know it’s evil. They know it’s evil, and they don’t care. They get those evil looks on their faces because casteism has turned them somewhat evil. That’s what it does to you. Casteism turns a human into a snake.
Any Indian you discuss caste with gets this evil, devious look on his face and also shuts down the conversation. It’s their dirty little secret. All of them.
Now here we have a lot of Punjabis. Sikhism says according to its religion that caste is evil, and it’s banned. One of the Gurus, I think Guru Nanak, specifically banned it. But Sikhs are from India. So they are lousy people because India has made them that way. I brought the thing about Guru Nanak banning caste to a lot of Sikhs. I never asked them their caste (that is a very bad idea), but I just mentioned that Sikhism banned caste, yet Sikhs practice it anyway. Unanimously, every Sikh I talked to more or less defended caste. Mostly they just smiled and shrugged their shoulders like, “Yeah, so what?” whenever I pointed out that caste sucked, and Sikhs practicing caste were hypocritical.
And there’s the rub really. I have almost never met one single high caste person who does not defend the caste system. You see? The high castes will never oppose that system. They all like it. It’s evil, but they are making out good from it, so, so what? So caste will never go away because the high castes are so sleazy that they will never dismantle it because they are making out just fine.
Bottom line is Indian culture is devoid of morality. That’s all there is to it.
Sure, Indians are not as violent as Blacks but so what? That’s a compliment? Saying a group is better than Black Africans is a compliment? That’s setting the bar awful low. The things is that with humans, there’s no limit to the low. There literally is no bottom. And it’s never a good argument to say, “Yes, I act bad, but look at him. He acts so much worse.”
Anyway, Black Africans are probably violent biologically through no fault of their own, so I am not as inclined to blame them. There are a lot of good people in Africa. A lot of Blacks are Christians and Muslims, and they are quite good people. Even in Nigeria, if you go out into the rural villages, you will find a lot of very good people, if there are any left that haven’t fled to the cities.
I do not know Black Africa very well, but Christianity and Islam make a bad man act good, and we are all bad men inside. I think there are a lot of very good people in Africa. I doubt if African culture makes you a lousy human being.
Most Jews nowadays are outside of Jewish culture. I have known a lot of Jews who are great people, but they were very secularized. The Jewish religion seems pretty lousy, and even some Judeophiles I know have told me that the more “Jewish” someone acts, the more of a problem they are. They told that the main problem with Israelis is that those Jews over there are “really, really Jewish,” as in “way too Jewish.” So Jews aren’t a problem, but “Jewishness” is sort of a problem. That is, hardcore Orthodox or ghetto mindsets tend to make people act lousy. But most Jews in the US are not very “Jewish.” They are far outside the Orthodox and ghetto mindset.
Now there’s the thing. The Jews I knew were secular Jews who barely even believed in God. They never went to Temple, and they had no idea what was in their crazy Holy Books. I told one of them some of the stuff that was in the Talmud, and they got mad at me and called me a liar. So, sure, the Talmud is sleazy and Judaism at its core may be a nasty religion, but most secular Jews do not have the foggiest idea what is in the Talmud, and they seem to be blind to the fact that their religion is nasty. They have chosen Reform Judaism which is often about “being a light unto the world” and making the world a better place, as in a more progressive place.
Bottom line is I do not think most Jews are lousy people. Sure, a lot of Jews are lousy, but so many are not. And it seems the more assimilated the Jew is and the less religious he is, the better of a person he is.
Many US Blacks are good people, often very good people. Many are religious, often very religious. Even Sam says 60% of Blacks are ok people. I do not think you can say that most Blacks are lousy people. Too many of them are good. Does Black culture make you into a lousy person? Not necessarily.
But ghetto culture is pretty bad, and a lot of people in the ghetto turn out lousy because there are so many lousy people around them that they all just race to the bottom of the barrel pulling down anyone trying to climb out. But even in the ghetto, you find an surprising number of often very good people. I used to teach school in Compton, and I was shocked at how many decent and even very good Black people there were even in a place like that. A lot of them were very religious.
Bottom line is Black culture doesn’t really make you lousy. Jewish culture doesn’t necessarily make you lousy either. Mostly because these two cultures are so diverse that there is no single US Black and US Jewish culture. And both of those cultures have all sorts of subcultures that vary from exemplary to lousy.
Now we get to India. It is safe to say that anyone who comes out of Indian culture is probably lousy. Maybe the poor aren’t, but they are so stupid that they are almost dangerous to humanity and anyway, they don’t have any power to change anything.
All of the people in India with enough power to change the lousy culture refuse to change it. Probably because it’s already made them lousy, and they like their lousy culture, and they enjoy being lousy people, probably because it’s fun to be evil.
