I haven't posted anything "lifestyle" based for ages now, so thought I'd put that right and include a few snaps from the amazing weekend I've just had. Unfortunately I can't take credit for the photography (once again I neglected to charge my camera) and so I've managed to nab a few pictures that my lovely friend Laura took whilst we were gallivanting around.
On Friday we went for cocktails and tapas at what is one of my favorite chain restaurants - Las Iguanas. Then on Saturday morning we traveled down to London where we went to watch the new Anders Lustgarten play "If You Don't Let Us Dream", after which we spent the rest of the day shopping for Mother's Day presents.
The play was fantastic - I won't go into too much detail as it's not for everyone what with it being very much politically focussed, but needless to say - I thoroughly enjoyed it. Even better was the fact that Laura and I got to meet some of the cast members afterwards. In particular, the gorgeous man that is Damien Maloney (star of Being Human and pictured above with a beaming Laura), who was utterly charming. It really did make our day! :)
It really was such a fabulous weekend, topped off with a Sunday full of spoiling my amazing Mum rotten. I'd gone to the trouble on Saturday of stopping in at the"Wild at Heart" florists inside Liberty to get her a special bouquet which she loved. The flowers there were so beautiful, I just had to include a few pics - the tangerine coloured roses were my absolute fave!
Going to make it my mission to blog more of these kind of posts from now on as they are by far the most enjoyable to write! :) Hope everyone else had a nice weekend too. What did you all do to treat your lovely Mummy's to?
