I Went to Boots and This is What I Bought...

By Brokebutbeautiful @never2broke4bea

On Saturday I posted about a few items I was hoping to try at some point. I had very good intentions of this purely being a virtual shopping trip to save a few pennies. However, when a beauty blogger pops into Boots to pick up a few essentials she is guaranteed to splash the cash, so this is what I bought this weekend!

I went to Boots and this is what I bought...

Eucerin cleanser, Wake Me Up concealer and Vichy Dermablend foundation

Vichy Dermablend Corrective Foundation
This was on the top of my wish list and the state of my skin is getting me down a little bit so I decided to splash out the £15.50 and give this a try. This is a corrective foundation that can be used for different skin complaints and scaring so I'm really optimistic that it will conceal my spots. I'm also very excited to see if the claims of lasting 16 hours are true. This would be amazing because my makeup seems to wear off in a matter of a few hours so 16 hours of wear would equal a very good foundation!
Eucerin Dermo Purifier Cleanser
As my skin is so terrible I figured it was time to try out a new skin care regime. I recently tried some samples from Paula's Choice and loved them but they are a little out of my price range at the moment. This was near the Vichy products in Boots and £9.18 didn't seem like a bad price for a cleanser for blemish prone skin. It contains Saylic Acid so I'm optimistic that it will have an impact on my spots. If I like it I'll introduce a few more of their products into my skin care routine.
Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer
I've read so many positive reviews of the Rimmerl Wake Me Up foundation but I don't think it will be suitable for my skin at the moment. I wanted an illuminating concealer for under my eyes and the Wake Me Up concealer seemed a good option as it apparently has an 'anti fatugue effect,' if only it could make me feel less tired as well as look it!
Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish
I haven't received this yet but I did buy a sample of the Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish from Latest in Beauty. It was only £3, it would have been rude not to buy it!
Of course full reviews of all these products will follow! I can't wait to give them a try!
