as the forever changing world of fashion continues it is becoming more and more apparent that, well, girls just wannabe guys! The chequered shirts, tweed blazers, chinos, boyfriend fit jeans, vans, boat shoes, geek glasses; the list is endless! Of course we at Vinchi are loving this tomboy style; there is a sense of ambiguity about it which is just fascinating...
One of the main parts of this style that we are loving is BOWLER HATS! Also known as coke hats, derbys, billycocks or bombins, there's a bit of history for you ;) Now these really are the vintage of all vintage as they were originally created in 1849! These hard tops were extremely popular with the working class during the Victorian era, by MEN must we add. And here they are now! Bowling into the 21st Century who'd of known aye? And what's so ironic is that they are more popular with girls! And we love it! If you're ever feeling like your look is looking a bit dull just pop on your billycock (that's my favorite word for it) to get that edgy style ;)
