Lace It Up!!!

By Cgajid @cgajid
Nothing is quite as feminine and delicate as lace and this style is the unspoken attire of winter as we all start layering up and wearing longer sleeved dresses to our fancy events! Lace is a popular fabric in the vintage world- it originates from the early 16th Century and was mainly worn in religious ceremonies and services. Now we see it everywhere! The best kind of lace is the more original, hand stitched type rather than the more industry produced type. It doesn't have the same attention to detail and authenticity that Vinchi just loves!!!Lace It Up!!!
We've spotted a few celebs looking hot in lace on the red carpet this week such as Selena Gomez at the MTV Europe Music Awards. I picked her dress as its not genuine lace but a more exaggerated pattern replica. Her natural beauty and make-up makes her look all the more glam and gorge!!

Its a quirky modern take on the classic white lace dress and a cute little detail is the layered mesh at the skirt of the dress for a added bit of va va VOOM!! Also spotted in lace of the more original variety this week was Leona Lewis who added a classy vintage touch of a long pleat skirt... so CHIC!!
