EGADS! Don’t say it’s true Bren! WTH are you doing girly?
Well, with all the latest updates with Google+ and Blogger, I was curious. Then a friend of mine (who will remain nameless) who finally left the world of Blogger to venture into Self-Hosting WordPress, jumped ship and moved back to Blogger.
Again, I was curious!
At first, it was very intriguing! A CHALLENGE! Some of you know how much I LOVE a good CHALLENGE!
Then it all started coming back to me, not as slowly as I expected, it was almost a BIG FAT SLAP IN MY FACE!

So I’m going to share with you a SHOT of what I was working on….

Well the more I worked on it, the more frustrated I got. Between waiting on Disqus to import my existing comments; and finding out that IntenseDebate commenting system (the one I really wanted to use because it has the CommentLuv plugin) wouldn’t import ANY comments; then the friggin SHARE buttons (do I use Addthis or ShareIt) and configuring them to include my @NAME (cause ya’ll KNOW how that is a big PEEVE of mine); I finally said
“SCREW IT!”
I’m totally content where I am…..
A WORDPRESS SNOB!
But just not any WORDPRESS SNOB!
A SELF-HOSTING WORDPRESS SNOB!
So I hung up but Blogger Intrigue, in that dusty old closet that houses some of those “skeletons” I used to know and happily pranced my big BADONKIDONK back to my beloved WordPress blog and began preparing this blog post for ya’ll.
I know not all blogging platforms are for everyone and I can respect that and their reasoning. From someone who spent over a year on Blogger; went back and tried it again; then most recently tried yet one more time, I have found my home and won’t be leaving anytime soon, no matter HOW enticing the new Blogger features and/or Google+ features may be.
Yes, I’m Bren and I’m a SELF-HOSTING WORDPRESS SNOB.

Now I ask you, how many times have you flip-flopped blogging platforms and where did you end up? With all the new features of Google+ comments connecting with Blogger blogs, has it intrigued you enough to give Blogger a try?
