I have mentioned before that I have made some great friends through blogging. Although I have been lucky enough to meet a few of them now at various events and conferences, there are still quite a few I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting in person.
Well that will change this weekend! Tomorrow (most) of us will be descending on the lovely Eileen’s (ET Speaks from Home) house – I just hope she knows what she is letting herself in for!
I am always quite nervous in new social situations but I have to say that I am not nervous about tomorrow at all! I know it will be like meeting up with old friends and there will always be something to moan talk about!
I also am really looking forward to having a night away from the Little A’s. Does that make me sound terrible?! With Big Mr A being away for nearly two weeks and then been extra busy at work since he came back I do feel like I have been on my own doing everything and I really can’t wait for a little bit of me time.
We have had some great companies sponsoring our Bloggers Night In (more of that to come!) and we are hoping for a relaxing afternoon and evening of pampering, wine and more food than anyone should eat in one day! And more importantly, no Dr Who!
I feel really lucky that I was introduced to these lovely ladies at the beginning of the year. There is always someone on hand to help with blogging questions or just to have a moan to! When I’m feeling down or having a bad day I know someone will be there to cheer me up with kind words and knowing I have that support has really helped over the past few months.
