This photo was taken in the Roadkill Festival, a heavy metal show that gathers heavy metal enthusiast from around the Benelux area to headbang, drink a lot of beer and listen to good music. I, honestly, like heavy metal, and it was a musical transition that I made in the mid 90s. I remember that I used to love the Backstreet Boys and the Spice Girls and suddenly, one day, my father presents me with GNR’s Use your illusions I and II and Deep Purple’s Machine Head. That day the pop was history and heavy metal became my new English teacher. Anyways, I don’t remember the name of this guy, but I do remember that he had an amazing voice and stage persona. I think you could feel that with this portrait.
