I Love Purple Lips

Today I thought I'd show you my small collection of purple lip products. I really got into having dark purple or lilac lips. I love having something a bit different. I want to collect more, but for the minute the 6 I have I love.

There is a range of brands, styles, formulas and shades that I own.I love really dark purples as well as gorgeously light lilacs.

1. MUA Shade 2 - I love MUA lipsticks, and this one is no different. It is a gorgeous dark plummy purple, it applies lovely opaque and a perfect amount of color. You can make it look like more of a stain if you dab lightly.
2. Maybelline Baby Lips Grape Vine - I'm a massive lover of Baby Lips, and I can't wait for them to come to the UK. This one is probably my favorite. It is a gorgeous sheer purple, that applies a subtle lilac to your lips. It can build up to a slightly dark purple. Either way I love it for a day look, and a pop of color.
3. The Body Shop Born Lippy Passionberry - This is definitely the sheerest purple I own. It really adds very little colour, but I think it has a shimmer of purple in it. It smells delicious and when I apply it to my lips it leaves them feeling so lovely and hydrated.
4. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain Darling Cherie - I love this lip stain, it reminds me of their other balm stain in Cherish, it just has more of a lilac pop. I love it to add a little pop of colour, and I know I can easily apply more or leave it for a while and no worry about it.
5. Revlon Lip Butter Gumdrop - I'm so happy I got this in a trade, but it isn't available in the UK. It's actually my favorite lip butter color as it was something different to what I've owned. I love how opaque it appears on the lips and a beautiful finish.
6. Rimmel Apocalips Galaxy - This could be my favorite from the bunch, it's a gorgeous dark vampy purple. I love this when I want my lips to really stand out, and it looks beautiful against my pale skin. The formula is amazing, and it applies opaque after one application. You can apply lightly for a less out there look, or build up applications for a darker purple look.

I've just realised all of these beauties are high street brands, so definitely worth checking out as they are super cheap! 

I really want to try the L'Oreal Shine Stain in the purple color and Maybelline Whisper in the Lilac colour, which I'm hoping to get in a swap.
