Almost everyone knew about Jacque Maribe’s fiance Joseph Irungu apart from her parents.Jacque Maribe’s dad, Maribe Mwangi, has come out to reveal that she never told him about Jowi’s public proposal but only learned about it through the media.Speaking to journalists, Mwangi said that he had seen Jowi a few times but Jacque had never introduced him officially but was caught off guard by the proposal.“She is an adult and I was not following much about their relationship. I even heard of their engagement over the media,” said the journalist’s dad.

He went on to say that her daughter is not an evil person but is guilty of love. Maribe broke the news about Monica’s murder on Citizen TV. His father said that there’s no way she could have done it and still read the news.“The day after Monica’s murder, my daughter read the same piece of news at Citizen. How callous can she be to participate in a murder and have the courage to read the news? That is not the girl we raised,” he disclosed.
