Excuse me for being so tired but I just got back from shopping the NEW Phillip Lim Collection at Target. Who goes to Target at 8am? Oh... why I do, along with hundreds of other people this morning! The crazies (this is a term of endearment) of fashion, woke up bright and early this lovely Sunday morning so they can shop the long awaited Phillip Lim for Target Collection. I have been counting down the days and set my alarm for 7:30am, so I could get what I "needed".
I actually should have set my alarm for 4:30am because by the time I arrived at my local Target store, most of the goodies were GONE! I'm talking empty racks. I only had 5 things I really wanted on my list and I was able to get 4 out the 5. Awesome right? I did have to fight my way through the frantic crowd to get the purses I wanted. I guess I shouldn't complain because I walked out with the two I "needed".
It was definitely an experience. I mean, some woman were walking around with shopping carts FILLED with merchandise. I'm just happy I came home with my "Baby Lim"(I've trademarked this term). That's the name of my mini satchel, just in case you were wondering. Here are the items I picked up!
1) Boom Scarf: I was lucky to grab the LAST one! $19.99
2) Tote: I may or may not have snatched this out of someone's hand (sorry). I also have been on a hunt for a new grey-esque purse so definitely happy I snagged this. $54.99
3) Mini Satchel: This ladies and gentlemen would be my NEW "Baby Lim"! I fell in love and there's no turning back! $34.99
4) French Terry Sweatshirt: I am not a sweatshirt wearing type of girl BUT I am obsessed with this "Boom" print so I needed it! $29.99
Trust me, there was tons of other really cute stuff. I tried some things on but wasn't thrilled with the fit. I am just happy I walked away with what I did. Check out Target.com for more items and stop by your local Target store to check out the empty racks, which clothes once hung. Here are some other items from his collection. I really wished I grabbed his tuxedo pants but unfortunately, it was sold out.

I will be going back to Target, just in case they get a new shipment because as I write up this post, I'm realizing I may need more. Stay tuned for the real deal pics.
